Once you have figured out your nail sizes, you’re ready to place an order! DarkTigress offers both preset nail designs as well as custom nail designs.

Preset Nail Designs

Preset nail designs are shown on our website and are available for purchase at anytime. If our designs are shown as “sold out” that simply means we are not taking orders at the moment. Follow us on Instagram or sign up to our email list to always be notified and updated about when orders are being taken.

Custom Nail Design

Interested in a design but don’t see it on our website? No problem! DarkTigress specializes in custom press-on nails to bring your ideas to life! To order a custom nail design, simply follow the steps below:

• Send us a DM on Instagram (@) or email us at (email) with your design reference and name
• We will assign a design level (typically will respond within 1 - 2 days)
• Measure your nails following our sizing guide and place an order online here

DO NOT place an order without getting a design level assigned first as we will not know what design you would like.

Please refer to our sizing guide for detailed information regarding how to find your nail sizes.

Step 1: Prep your nails

1. Push back your cuticles using the cuticle tool
2. Gently buff the surface of your nails using the nail file
3. Wipe your nails thoroughly with the alcohol wipe to remove natural oils on the nail plate

Step 2: Apply your adhesive

Sticky Tabs (Temporary wear - up to 3 days)

1. Choose the sticky tab that is the closest sizes to your natural nails
2. Apply tabs to your nails

Nail Glue (Long term - up to 3 weeks)

1. Apply a pea-sized amount of glue onto your natural nails

Step 3: Apply press-on nails

1. Align press-on nail as close to your cuticle at a 45-degree angle
2. Press down and hold firmly for 10-15 seconds
3. Repeat for each nail

Additional tips to ensure long-lasting wear

• Avoid any contact with your natural nail surface after wiping with alcohol to avoid putting natural oils back onto your nail surface, allowing the adhesive to completely adhere
• Avoid contact with water for the first 2-3 hours after application (PRO TIP: Apply before bed!)

1. Fill a bowl with hot water and add soap and oil into it
2. Soak your nails for 10-20 minutes to allow the nail glue to loosen
3. Use the cuticle tool to gently lift the edges of the press-on
4. Gently pull the press-ons off the nail plate and store them away for future use!

Wear time depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application! If you want longer wear time, make sure to follow our application guide!

Adhesive Tabs: 1 - 3 days wear

Nail Glue: Up to 2 weeks

Tabs with glue: Up to a week

Our luxury press-on nails are not only stylish but also reusable, thanks their salon-quality constriction, making them stronger and more durable than typical drugstore sets.

APPLICATION FOR REUSABILITY:

We recommend placing the adhesive tab to the back of the press-on, and a small amount of glue to your natural nail when applying your set that you plan on reusing in the future. This application method will allow you to easily remove the glue from the press-on.

WHEN USING ADHESIVE TAB: Nails can be reworn as many times as you’d like. Simply clean off the used adhesive tab from the backside of the nails and store away for future use!

WHEN USING GLUE: After soaking your nails off, file/buff away excess glue left on the backside of the press-on and store away for future use!

Each purchased nail set will come with an application kit included. Application kits consist of nail glue, adhesive tabs, nail buffer, alcohol wipes, cuticle pusher, mini nail file, and a free gift!

Please take the time to size yourself correctly. Since all of our nail sets are custom and made to order, we will not be accepting any returns even if your nails are the incorrect size.
